Paul they told me the Plate wasn't included but he'll chuck it in for free Confused

That's what my dealers said too. "The box and rack have arrived but we can't fit it as the plate hasn't arrived" so I collected the bike and took the bits home in the car to fit myself. When I took the box out of it's box the plate was attached to it, so when the second plate came I now have two.
Maybe I was just lucky but at the price I would expect the plate to be included as the box alone ain't worth the money.

maybe the dealers don't know the plate is included Laughing even though it says so on the Yamaha web site Laughing oh is clive pulling my leg about stripping the scoot just to fit the rack Question

Dealer knows nothing, the plate will be in the box. You will have to remove the grab rail and then the rear panel, the drill marking are on the underside (27 or 29mm if I recall). The rack has two mounts connecting it to the underneath of the grab rail also.

Paul correct Laughing I now have a spare plate Laughing all done but thank you for tha above instructions Very Happy Pics below, I'll give the topcase 8 / 10 for quality ( Givi are better ) I'm not too keen on the plate fitting to the rack see pic, I'm sure it's fitted correctly Laughing

I presume that there is a cover to go over the metal plate.....and you've just not taken a picture of it? Confused

Laughing yes I've screwed the plastic cover over the plate I'm not that thick Laughing correct no pic Laughing but you can see the cover just under the topcase Laughing
