Don't know. But so long as all the figures you see quoted are in the same state, it is only a comparison.

Scooter Infos quote 174kg for the Nexus250 and 161kgs for the Satelis. The Nexus 500 is given as 195kgs and the Satelis 500 as 213kgs - the Sat500 has very different suspension arrangement from the rest of the range which I guess must add a fair bit then?

I'm now thinking do I really want a 500? Of course I'd love one but the insurance is a bit of a bugger as I've only had my licence a year and lost my no claims due to a Citroen being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Icon_icon_whistlehalo

My B125 is costing me just £60 a year for insurance, £15 for tax and it doesn't use tooooooooooooooo much fuel. Wink

Sounds like a 250 would be just the job for you for a couple of years then Mr Phil......It would give you a chance to build up the old no claim bonus and still have a bike that will out accelerate most cars at the lights. They do a bit of distance too for the odd all important meet/ride out.. Icon_thumbs_up

That is a hell of a mileage for a 125!

My 250 weighs about 170kg with fluids and half a tank of fuel apparently.

As the 3rd 250 nexus owner on the site ill just pip in a bit, as bobo and mobile adam say its a good scoot, done 6300miles on mine no problem, total servicing costs in that time 140 quid plus one rear tyre, fuel economy as good as most 125s, at 85mpg. I've ridden mine all over the place, the peak district, wales and on trips from Cheshire to Essex (210miles) and she's done it all. If your spending loads of time on Mways then a 400/500 would be better but on my 12 mile commute on twisty lanes she was perfect.
I'm using 'was'only because I lost my job in march and the new one I found is in Abu Dhabi! I'm that fond of my bike that I've got her garaged in Essex for when ever I return ... she's a keeper!
