Hello peeps. Joined last week but not sure if I would go through the trauma of swapping my Bandit for a scoot, so laid low for a while. OK now though, been and done it! Bought an 04 Burger from a dealer in Essex and rode it back to Leeds today.

Although this is my 30th two wheeler since I was 17 (yes I'm a boring 48 y/o tw@@t now), it was still a leap of faith to switch to an maxi-scoot. (Think of the peer group scorn!!!!) Bollocks to 'em, I like it and that's what counts!!!

and....... and I use to ride hundreds of motorcycles, but I too saw the light probably around 5 years ago maybe more and have never looked back.
I enjoy riding again... Very Happy

Well good evening to all you night owls (thought you were all asleep, that's why I posted late on - bugger / burger!!!!).

Mark - Burger is fine, could do with more top-end but I couldn't afford a K7/8 as I'm skint but maybe in a couple of years. For now though it does the job. It kept up on the M25/ M11 and A1 today and I can't fault it. Will give it a good test tommorrow on the twisty stuff and see how I get on.

Would love to meet up sometime soon so will keep an eye out on the board.

Wozza - know where your coming from fella!!! Nothing to prove - just lets go somewhere!!!

welcome sir been there done that to .I'm on number 34 at the mo.
and have just 5 weeks ago changed from a 600 bandit for my now s-wing 125.
gor the same reasons can't be bothered to race round at silly speeds and not see anything of what your passing.
