Good one Craig.

I have a soft spot for the MK2 Max myself. Would probably have bought one 2 years ago if the dealer hadn't been a dick!

Though the mk3 has improvements that T-Max owners and ex owners were asking for the mk2 is still a damned fine bike and doesn't have that high level exhaust that would annoy me on the mk3.

Well done mate. They are a quality product.

You will love it. They do feel a little strange in ways to begin with but your handy on a bike so will have no trouble.

Once you have ridden it a few times you will gel with it and you can push them harder than any other scoot ever. Cool

take it gently for a bit as it will feel different to the nexus - I always do for the first few days until I feel comfortable to start pushing it

Don't forget the tyres will be new too so could be a bit slippery at first, and the brakes will need to bed in a bit. Take it easy for the first few days, we don't want to hear any crash stories on this one Wink Very Happy

Not really worth raking up as it was 2 years ago now and probably my fault for wanting to buy a T-Max he'd have to order in when he had a load of unsold Fazers in the shop.

I think I added to the insult by wanting to pay cash, meaning no finance commission.

As I remember the sales pitch was great for a bike I already wanted to buy, "One of them scooter things, what do you want one of them for? For less than that you could buy a decent bike."

Funnily enough, John P was getting the same kind of response and we both ended up buying Nexus's Very Happy
