Thats actually a nice ride from here once you head up on the old A423 to Banbury from Oxford then across towards Stratford - you never know, I could do it easily in 90mins - so is a possibility

their all wimps to scared of the noise of an aeroplane.or is it just to scared to go on a ride out in the midlands?I'm going and the wife has already booked the baby sitter.so if you want to meet there ,no problem.
hopefully more people will say they will come at a later date. Icon_sun

Might be able to do this one. Would have to trot down on the Saturday stop overnight. Know any decent B&B's in the area?
Ginge. Cool

Ooo!!! That's a possible. Would love to hear the Vulcan at flat chat, but it would be better if it was airborne.

The loudest plane I ever saw was an EE Lightning at the Coltishall airshow many many moons ago. I was still a wee nipper at the time, but I clearly remember that, at the end of the Lightning display, the pilot just opened the taps and climbed vertically away from the airfield at full bore. The more recent phenomenon of Jaguar and Tornado pilots having a competition to see who can set off the most car alarms pales by comparison.
