Thank you GavinUK I'll update my time and the Karma did go through. I like learning new things even at my age. Wink

Don't worry about age on here, have a closer look at the Rutland photos, 33 scooters carrying a total of about 1,300 years of riders Laughing

I wonder what the average age is actually........hmm I bet I'm in the upper end of the scale.... Icon_crying

I dread to think, maybe on the next ride I should brush up on the ABC's.........

Shocked

At a guess I would have said the Rutland Ride average age was about 48

I did look at every picture and video posted, I enjoyed all of them. I liked the group and the country, I was confused by what appeared to be locks until I figured this was to raise and lower the water. I think everyone loved the ducks. I stated I was envious of the group but I could see a bunch of friends having a good time. If gas ever goes down I might be able to swing a trip across the pond. It's where my grandmother came from so I'd like to see the country. My sister has been there to visit with her online card playing friends and had a good time. Is 33 riders the record or have there been more?

Much appreciated. You folks would be great to hang with. Don't tempt me, I might just do it.

I have a business trip lining up in September to Bologna. Any advice as to where I could rent a Maxi for a day or two?

My oldest son went to college in Kazoo. We used to live in Chesterfield before moving here. Have you got a trailer for the scooter? If you get up this way bring it with you. We have the space so come for a visit and stay for a few rides. The area is beautiful for riding though. The color runs are something special if you like that sort of thing. If you ever get near the phone number is ( removed # pm me)

Though Wanderingbear, you are better off sending your phone number as a PM (private message) rather broadcasting it.
