Don't like it!
Confused Looks a bit too much like a motorbike.
If you want gears why not get a proper geared machine like a Vespa ?

Looks good apart from the industrial chimney sticking out the back. Cool

Yeah I like these.

When Suzuki and Kawasaki had a tie-up a few years ago they had a Kawasaki version out that had a orange and black colour scheme. It looked the mutt's nuts! I was seriously tempted to buy one, especially when they used them as support bikes for the Tour De France.

Seeing them riding around every day on the TDF for 3 weeks was almost too much for the wallet zip!

The break-up between the two companies meant that the Kawasaki version was dropped, so at least I'm spared from thinking "I'd like one of those!"......or would be if a bloke 50 yards up the road hadn't bought one!He rides it past the house every day! Sad

Probably do my knee no good at all though!

The Kawasaki was just a re-badged Suzuki with a different colour scheme Very Happy

I collected my V-Strom today, and it is great Smile
It is really easy to handle because of the upright riding position and wide handlebars.
It is also very comfy Very Happy
Apart from the standard crap windscreen (Typical...) it could even be a little bit more comfier than the Burgervan 650 Shocked
The bike itself is a great runner, the engine is a peach even with its 14,000 miles on the clock.
The gearchange is smoother than the SV1000 I owned from new, perhaps the extra mileage helps Question
It also runs very cool for a Suzuki.
I have owned 12+ Suzuki's and they have all ran with 3 bars showing on the temperature gauge. But this one runs with 2 bars showing. It only crept upto 3 bars when I went thru' the town Centre.
I am going to be getting a Givi Windscreen for it.
They should give me free shares in Givi with how many screens I have bought from them over the years Laughing
Around town it was fantastic with the high riding position.
All in all I am very happy with my new bike Very Happy

Andy
